Krug Park.

Krug Park is found at the northern end Parkway St. Joseph in Saint Joseph. It boasts extensive landscaping and flowerbeds as well as Italian Renaissance-style structures. The Krug family donated 140 acres of land to the park in 1936, giving it its current form and size. Over the years the park has had many additions such as a castle-like playground and a wading area. One of the most impressive outdoor light displays in Northwest Missouri is located in the park.

Krug Park opened in May 1906. It has a stone gate and conservatory. There were also alligators and other exotic animals in the park. There were also "Robidoux Cabin" and old war cannons. This cabin was falsely claimed to have been owned by Joseph Robidoux.
